Do you use a flashcart like an Acekard2i or R4i? If so an Action Replay is a waste of money.

getting a ds phat shouldn't be hard to find
I recommend either vuying one dirt cheap for like 30-50 bucks heck I even saw one for 15 at the flea market lol
also Try online stores if all eles fails just ask to borrow a DS from someone

Also I heard of this Thing called Action replay max dou or something that allows you to use savs from Emulators that you play and we all know that on emulators you can use AR codes as well as flashcarts and like TirithRR said action replay is a wast of money and about that dsi ar check out there site I'm pretty sure they would explain if it works on dsi's latest firmware check out
    Codjunkies there official site

I just dump my games to ROMs and play them on my Flashcart, even if I own the actual cartridge. That way I can still play without changing cartridges, still support the games I like, and still get all the features of the flashcart while playing.

You can make your own dumps using your flashcart. It's cheaper than buying an Action Replay just so you can use cheats on a cartridge.

Thats pretty damn interesting how do you dump games? I really wanna support some DS games but I don't want to play it on the official cartridge soo lets say I get my HGSS next year or some small time DS gems and I wanna support them how do you dump them? and do you need to make them work by patching and all thoes annying steps?

This is the easiest way. You can backup your save files and the actual ROM. It does work, I dumped Witch's Tale and Wizard of Oz this way.

You can also use a 3 in 1 expansion pack to do it:

This way is faster, but you have to swap back and forth for larger games.

Hmm I might give that a shot because I would feel guilty getting phantasy star and not owning the box art.. plus I love phantasy star and I cant wait to Download it but I still wanna Own the actualy game Sooo how for a noob like me? whats the skill level for dumping games on a scale from 1-10

6 or 7, since you'd need to set up a wireless connection at home and an ftp on your computer. 5 if you can follow the instructions.

But if you use the 3 in 1 expansion method... 3 or 4, since all you have to do is follow the steps and follow the directions on your DS screen.

Wait! EZ flash does it fast? what do you mean by swap between larger games? can you Take the back up save file from EZ flash and drag in drop it on your computer? and then once EZ flash is empty you can try another game? did I get this correct? I am getting more interested now

Read the second link, it's a tutorial.

Basically the EZFlash 3 in 1 can only hold 32MB at a time, so if you have a game that is 128MB, it has to copy 32MB from the game, put it back onto your flashcart, erase it from the 3 in 1, then copy another 32MB from the game, add it to the flashcart, erase it from the 3 in 1... four times total. Eight times total for a 256MB game (very few of those around).
