help with rom kimi ni todoke

Im trying to play kimi ni todoke-sodateru omoi on my Ds but i keep getting the msg 'Could not read file.Switch off n insert cartridge'. I've downloaded the universal child's patch but nothing changes. I've read the common problems topics and searched for any related topics for a few hours now but i just don get it...pls help....

I'm using R4ds Ndsl/Nds

What firmware are you using?
Try using YSmenu if its a real R4.
You can download an already made version here

 

Thats the problem.i dont know if my R4 is a fake or not. If its a fake will the ys menu damage my R4?

 

No.
If its a fake YSmenu just won't work properly.
You can just delete it off the MicroSD then.
