Help with regular Ds

Hi,

I was hoping one of you could help me.
I have 3 regular Ds's. I can't get any R4 or R4i to work on one of them. It works fine on the other 2, but for some reason not on the third. The menu when using an R4 does not load and goes right to the screen that you get if you do not have a card in and says that there is no card. When I tried the r4i, again it says no card inserted. The Ds plays regular game cartridges.

Again, my R4 and R4i work fine on my other 2 Ds's.

Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.

 

Try reinserting the R4.
There might be some dust obstructing the circuit.

 

took it out, put it back in, tried it in another Ds. Still doesn't work in this one. When I put in a regular game-no problem.

 

could be a contact issue, insert a folded piece of paper with the R4, to make it a tighter fit into the DS

 

Prehaps the firmware isn't loaded correctly.


I know my acekard's would work, and I know of solutions, but none for r4's except to make sure the firmware is on correctly.

 

if it works in the other 2 its not the acekard, i usually take the miscro sd out wipe the gold points on that & the card then blow in wer the game goes
