help with r4/m3

hey guys. lately i have been thinking about getting R4 or M3 but dont know wich is better. also can the two go wifi, do milti card play and/or single card play? thx for the help!

 

I have an R4, so I can tell you about it, but I have no idea about the M3.

Yes, the R4 can go wifi with any game that supports it, and the same for multicard. As for single card, or download play, it will work for some games, but not others. I'm not entirely sure why this is, and I'm not sure which games it works for, but some definitely work. Even without the download play on many of the games it's still worth it, as you go far beyond the point of getting your money back games-wise.

I've had one very annoying problem with my R4 though. About 3/5 times the DS does not recognise that the R4 card is there; it just goes straight to the main DS menu screen instead of loading the R4 menu. Is anyone else having this problem? And if so, can anything be done?

 

Cool thanks. i saw on there web site they have a firmwere update for the r4 and i think it can play single card now. also have you tryed blowing into you ds, or lightly scraching the connecter on thermaux card. That alwas works for me.

 

nope never had that problem, but i dont remove my R4 from my DS at all, just the SD

 

Don't forget the Supercard.

It is a good card, about half of my friends have the Supercard and the other half have the M3.

I have never had any problems that I cant fix with this card.

That happens to me too with my m3

Also i don't think taking out the sd card will do anything though because it would have to reconise the cart before the sd card
