Ok sorry for being a usless lump, But i got an R4i card, it's a christmas edition if that means anything.On the card it says it's compatible with 1.4, So anyway i downloaded the firmware.But it dosnt seem to work.I cant find the games, if i do find the games instead the game i get a folder that contains icons for txt,box art, and the game icon but the game dosnt load. My question is how the hell do you sue an r4i and have i downloaded the right firmware?
Did you unpack the firmware from its rar arcive befor place it onto your microSD chip ... The website on the box is always the right frimware for the card, but they are two lots of firmware for that card , format and try one of each , backup game first though
When i got the card there was nothing on it, so i did it myself.i 7-zipped it open then put it on the card.
