Help with Pokemon Black/White 2 on r4ds

I've downloaded the Black 2 and White 2 roms multiple times to use on my r4, but they aren't working. And I've downloaded other roms to be sure it's not a fault on my end, but the product is definitely working as it should. So why do I only get white screens when I try to load up either Black 2 or White 2 on my DS Lite?

I didn't realize there were multiple types...

It just says "Revolution 4 DS" on it. And I use the files I got from here: http://www.r4ds.me/download/r4_v1.18_kernel.html

 

The you do have the original R4 revolution that V1.18 was outdated very long ago.

The new replacement firmware for this card is now woodR4 also listed on there pages

PS: Yes Do the disable cheat and reset as Woodr4 has not bean fixed yet, but is a way by this with patched ROM, as serhat359 mentiond ^^

I have the new firmware now, but I'm still having the same problem. I only get white screens when I try to load the rom.

WoodR4 still have not fixed the PM B/W 2 games but should do soon when V1.50 is out.

However some people have got it to work using reset mehard using maybe the patched ROM are clean it did not state.

"Hi everyone. To fix black/white 2, all you have to do is highlight your rom on wood 1.49, double press 'Y' and then press 'R'. Then go to 'Reset In Game' and turn it off. Then it SHOULD work. Works for me, anyway"

You can use the roms that are, mostly, translated on the translation thread.

Go there and download one of the 2 latest patched roms and use those. You will thing, most of the time, you are playing the english version.
(since you solved that... you just need to do the same thing for the patched rom. Even the save file will work if you just replace the one you are playing for the new one. Keep the name)
