Help, when I turn on my computer, I get a Black screen with 5 blue lines in the left corner and then a lots of red, green smudges appear as lines (like when your TV has no signal). I thought it was the graphics card problem, but when I turned on the onboard VGA I had the same problem but just black screen (no smudges).
I can only make work sometimes by turning on/off on/off... Today it took 50mins... When It works it's a miracle! I scanned my PC with Avira and Bitdefender and no viruses were found.

    My PC specs are:

    ATI Raedeon 4800 series
    Intel Celeron CPU 2.50 GHz
    2GB RAM
    Windows 7

    here rest of specs:

its not a software problem if it occurs when you power it on. First thing to check is that all cables are securely plugged in to their jacks, then check that the graphics card is firmly seated and the fan is working. Also check the cpu fan is working, the PSU fan is working, and that they arent gummed up with dust.

Yeah, Loony's right, it's definitely a hardware problem.
