I just put in castlevania order of ecclesia on my r4, it is r4 wood's latest version. But when I was putting the game on my r4, the window froze and I couldn't close it.I tried ejecting it, but it wouldn't work, so I took it out witouth ejecting it.When I tryed to play, a message saying "SD/TF card error" appeared. When I put it into my computer again, I tryed opening the folder and it was empty. I tryed one more time and it asked me to format. What should I do?

Format. It's your only option anyway.

No I meant the original firmware for my r4. Or will wood r4 work alone? Also, thanks.

Yes it works alone if you have an original R4.

Are Ysmenu for original R4 cards with upto a 2gb microSD chip, GBATemp do provide the latest files for updates

Yoshi2889 people also do have a choice over just WoodR4 alone , If they wish to, are use it on a space microSD chip for best of both worlds XD!

(Note) A format dose not erase data

    Check http://forum.romulation.net/index.php?topic=46472.msg1029904#msg1029904

Yes it does. It wipes all data from the micro SD card and then rebuilds the file system.

I see no need for KillDisk.

No I said that formatting tools rebuild the file system. Not the data.
KillDisk requires you to rebuild the file system yourself, if I read that correctly.

Now where are you skills gone man...you was a great flashcard help once.

actually, formatting a drive just sets it to where everything on it can be written over...
