Help with my computer

    every time I connect a flash drive or any Hard drive my computer freezes

    PS: I tried formatting but it still wont work

    Help?

    Wait a few seconds. Windows is busy recognizing then.

    no it really freezes even if just booting my pc with flash drive connected
    my computer wont even boot when a flash drive is connected to it

    There is an change that your power supply is not giving out enough power.
    If that is the case then you need to purchase a selfpowered USB port!

    but when i connect a printer it doesn't freeze

    printers don't draw power from USB.

    you can also try using a different cpu.....
    if it works, then that means that your cpu is reading it wrong, or the usb port is dying (messing up).....
    if that is the case the see if there are other usb ports in the back of the pc.....
    first though try out what i said..........

    I tried other flahdrives but it still freezes even in the USB port on the back of my CPU. The flash drives I work on my laptop

    your computer is not able to supply sufficient power. You need a powered USB hub. Any device that draws power from the USB port will cause it.

    will a computer voltage regulator work? because I'm not using one

    no. you need a mains powered USB hub. Or a new computer.

    An USB port powered by flow might also work.

    And USB unit that works on flow...like your computer works on flow?

    I think so.

    I translated "Stroom" and used the first thing that came up (Flow), sorry :p
