Help with Loading Harvest Moon: Island of Happiness

So I downloaded the United States version of HM: Island of Happiness from ROMulation:

Then I tried emulating it in iDeaS version 1.0.2.6. It could start up but the bottom screen (i.e. the touch screen) is blank (black in colour). I can't see any buttons at all but when I click on it it seems I'm clicking on buttons. The bottom screen is totally blank. Help?

 

Ok I managed to play it using no$gb but I got stuck at this page:

Where is the accept button?

 

It's probably not fully compatible. Try using 1.0.2.8 or 1.0.2.9 beta http://ideasemu.org/. If that doesn't work, use no$gba instead. EDIT: Are you also using no$gba 2.6a?

And remember, you can just edit your post by clicking Modify if you have something to change if no one has posted

 

Yes I just downloaded No$GBA ver2.6a upon happening on the recommendation in the stickies here and it worked fine. I could see the bottom screen now... BUT, I don't know where to click on the Birthday page. There is no accept button.

 

BTW how do you save your game in No$GBA?

 

You'll probably have to wait for new versions, unless someone else has got this game working before. Change the save type to Auto, in Emulation settings.
