help with ez flash Vi and cross of venus ds game. (some other games too)

I've downloaded cross of venus game, some rpg anime type game that seems pretty cool.

When i try to run it on my EZ flash Vi i just get a white screen, i heard that u can arm7 patch the game or something like this

I tried this perfectly step by step with cross of venus, but still, the same thing happened, i copied the new file to my ds cart and still nothing.

Is there another way of making games work, i've heard of "could not access save data" but my problem stands where i can't boot the game at all??

any help??

i am using SanDisk 4bd Micro SDHC. I have about 20 games on my cart, but this one (cross of venus) rom number 3544 doesnt work

I even tried installing the latest firmware because mine was out of date, but no difference.
