help with dpg tools

    Im suddenly having trouble with dpg tools, the program that converts movie files to play on DS

    I cant get .avi to change all of a sudden. One movie i got to convert and put on my DS and played fine. Now afew days later it wont convert the same movie. I had to delete it from my DS and want it back on and cant get it to convert movies.

    All i get is

    "Preencode
    ffmpeg"

    and nothing happens, it says its trying to convert when i try to close it but its not doing anything, i let it sit for 30 mins and it did nothing.

    I tried another movie and it did the same thing.

    I tried upgrading to version 1.2 and the same thing happend.

    any help out there?

    I think its saying it wants you to pre-encode it manually. Either that, or its complaining it needs ffmpeg.

    how would one go about doing that lol.

    what i dont get is why its doing it all of a sudden.

    oh and afew times it said that it cannot find the video FPS on the files.

    means theres information missing from the file you are trying to convert. If it has worked before, then you should not be missing anything from the encoder; maybe ffmpeg will add the missing metadata.
