It doesn't matter-unless you were closer to one region it doesn't make a difference.

    I'm australian and I use ethier-no difference.

Once it has firmware of course for the flash card...I assume you already have these?

What do you mean by firmwear? I have Just purchased a R4 card of ebay? Is that what you mean?

My guess is that your new to all of this rom business.

Ok, you shall require firmware for your card-that get's the menu's and ds roms running.

What label is on the r4-there are many types/fakes/clones out there.

You then put the firmware onto an sd card-as well as the roms.

I have no idea how to do this-since the r4 had been officially stop production (and since all fakes and clones moved in) I chose an acekard-idiot proof install XD

But I'm sure someone here can help-just state your r4's type and you can get re-directed.

Not Sure yet as I have not received it. I just bought it of ebay. It already has 50 games on there so wouldn't that mean that the firmware is already on it?

yes - firmware must be already there - you may need to update it to play some of the new games.

Is there a system folder on the mircroSD anywhere? If yes then have a look in there, if there's nothing in there then there isn't any firmware.

Sounds like it has pre-installed firmware. Everything has been done for you.
