help saving and loading

well every time i save on pokemon heart gold rom it says its saved but then when i close the emulater and load it back up it hasnt saved so i have to start again and the same thing happens it does it on no$gba 2.6a so any help would be appricated

that doesnt help because it only happens when i turn off the emulater after i save and also it deletes all the cheats for it like the codes

Make sure you close the emulator properly, either by clicking the [X] button at the top or go to File -> Click.

If the emulator crash while playing, the recent saves you made will not be updated to the game save file.
Same thing to the cheat codes.

Alternatively, use the latest DeSmuMe.

 

also you must save the cheats

 

The cheats will be saved automatically after you put the codes, and then click Ok.
Like I said, It will only got deleted if the emulator wasn't closed properly.

 

i used to had to save mine or they wouldnt be there and if your rom crashes because of a cheat it may delete of them happened to me to.
