help regarding r4ds

i recently have bought r4ds ;D i followed the instructions in the tutorial how to put games into them. but after that when i had inserted the card into slot 1 it shows "COULDN'T FIND _DS_MENU.DAT" ??? plz help guys i very badly want to try my r4ds...... ;D

ok i dowloaded the kernel but it is in .rar file and the icon is of win media player ???.........................
what shall i do now.......................

 

You should unzip everything and copy it to the root file of your sd card

 

i that i only need to extract the "english" folder only into the r4 right????????

 

Yes everything inside the english folder. Drag all those files onto the root of your MicroSD.

 

i downloaded the kernel........
i extraced the english folder into the micro sd card and these folders came to be shown,,,,,,,,,,,
english
autorun
flashplay
readme text
and the mario cart game which i had downloaded frm here and changed it to .nds file
now where did i go wrong guys.......................... :-\ :'(

 

You can't extract a folder lol , you mean you dragged all those files inside the english onto the root folder? And you're supposed to extract the Mario Kart archive not change it to .nds. If you can't do it, here is a tutorial.
