My NDS's R button is so hard to press, sometimes it works (i have to press very hard), and often not working. what should i do? any tips? can i fix it by myself? thanks :
...If you actually know the process, fix it yourself, otherwise... 1.Buy a new one 2.Find a mod place-they might be able to repair itm (but be sure to not have to pay almost second hand price for one-gotta keep it cheap) 3.Send her back to nintendo 4.Do what I did...and put up with it (my gba's d-pad is hard to use, you have to mash the right direction to use it, otherwise it works) If you want to fix it yourself...you might need a special screw driver...and the springs to replace..but unless you done this before, I would not advise to do this...
There's a few different methods to fix it. "Take your lips and form a perfect seal around the L button and then blow a few times." apparently works well.
it works for both buttons but i advise against it, even though i do it myself. this is cause i read that the moisture from your mouth goes into the system, and might form mold or something on the hardware, which makes it worse. i've also taken apart my DS once to look at the buttons, and i chickened out toying around with the spring and trigger.
well i got a method but its kinda strange but its worked for my friends ds and mines what we did was we tapped the R button with considerable force (not so much force to the point your worried bout ur ds condition just like if u were to i dunno lightly pound a nail in with a hammer ) on the table or any hard surface a couple times for like 30 seconds. Turn it on see if it works if not try one or 2 times with either the same amount of force as before or with a little more than last time. Hope it works
