Help pls. in changing cd's./iso file

Im not really sure if this is the right place to ask this. Im knda new still to the site. But yeah here's my problem:

Im playing parasite eve right now. I dl'd the game here.

So I came to a point where I need to change to disk 2 now. *and yes i dl'd the 2nd part of parasite eve in this site too.

So when it ask's me to change to disk 2 I do this:
press "esc">go to "file">press "change">click on iso>choose the 2nd parasite eve iso file.

ok so after i've done that it jst stays in the point where it asks for the 2nd cd :[ what do I do pls?
*p.s. when I play the 2nd cd/iso file of parasite eve it works just fine.

 

Easiest way:

Save when it asks to save before the disc change (I'm pretty sure Parasite Eve asks during the change). And then run disc 2 and load the saved game.

 

@TirithRR: sadly it doesn't ask me to save when transitioning to disck 2 :[

 

Get a disc drive emulation software like Daemon Tools. Then mount the image, and use the run from CD ROM option.

I think it goes like this:

ESC
File -> Change Disc -> CD-Rom
A popup appears, asking you to change the disc and hit OK. Don't click OK yet.
Change the mounted image to the new CD.
Click OK.

This should work better than just changing ISOs directly.

 

where do I get Daemon tools? is it free?

ok i just tried that but failed. or maybe im doing it wrong? anyways can you guys pls. give me the details of mounting?

what I do is this... when asked to insert disk 2:
press esc>file>change disk>cd-rom>then when it asks me "insert a new cd-rom and hit the button to continue I DONT press ok yet">i go to Daemon tools lite (4.30.1)>mount image>choose the parasite disk 2 iso file>w8 while it loads for a couple of secs.>then i press enter...

... and there you go im still stuck :[

 

What version of ePSXe are you using?

 

epsxe 1.7.0

 

You may want to try 1.5.2

It's supposed to do well with Square Enix games. You should be able to copy of your *.mcr (Memory Card files) to the other version folder. It's worth a try, though I'm not guaranteeing anything

 

Load the second image in another virtual drive, and then load from that maybe?

 

hmmm.. ill give it a shot! coz if it still doesn't i might as well jst dl games with only 1file :[
