    So I bought a R4i 3DS V4.5 card.
All was fine, worked on my bros 3DS XL which is running V4.5.

I bought myself an 3DS XL which I had to update to v5.1.0.11 so I could transfer data from my old 3DS.

So I checked online, my card should be able to support the latest firmware once updated so I got down to business and updated it.

    Before hand it said
    "Supported Model: 3DS V4.5"

Now after updating to V1.67b (said so in the corner) it would not work on my new 3DSXL.
I put the card in an old DS to check it out and when I went into 'Upgrade' it said:
    "Support Model: NDSL, NDSI 1.44, 3DS 4.4"

To say the least I was confused. To confirm my suspicions I put it in my bro's 3DS XL which it worked perfectly fine on before and it did not work. It Black screened with the 'Power off' screen.

I have updated it several times, going back to V1.66 and trying automatically and manually and nothing is working.
It's not even updating back to V4.5.

This card is the new one brought out, marked V4.5.

Please if any one could help, I'd be eternally grateful.

    Weird problem.
If your brothers 3DS is still on 4.5.0-10 and your card works on it, it has been patched to work on that system menu.

So, what is the website listed on your card?

    r4i-sdhc.com is the website.

It did work but since I've updated the card it's black screening on my bro's too.

    Okay.
Have you tried completely formatting your SD card? It probably wont work, but it's worth a try.

    None.
    I'm completely bamboozled.

Best bet is to email support and ask for a replacement for a faulty card.
