Help needed! Please, problem getting NDS Files to work!!

    hi,
    i have just got a r4card for my son and followed the instructions on the forum for putting the nds files on.
    i get the error message "couldn't find ds menu.dat" when i put the r4 into the ds.
    i am new to all this so have probably missed something or done something wrong.
    any help would be great as i am trying to do this for my son as a surprise.

    Put the appropriate files on the Micro SD please

    Go to youtube and search "R4 starter kit" it will be the first or second result. (comes with download)

    Yeah, as far as i can remember you need to add the _system_ folder and the DSMENU.DAT file.

    ignore this link, it's the firmware for the original R4, which you most likely don't have.

    thanks very much guys, i hadn't loaded the firmware files to the sd card after i formatted it to sys 32.now it has the ds menu dat file and all it needs.
