help needed in Soul silver (generator piece)

    i know the generator piece is in misty's gym, but ive pressed "a" in every square of the water, i already beat the rocket guy on the bridge, do i have to do anything else?

    Also called LIFE SAVERS... the ones on the back... red and white... circley... close to the left side of the pool...
