HELP ME PLEASE!!!! SKIN BITRATE

Normal r4 skins dont work on my r4i because their bitrate is 16 or something, but someone told me that the r4i uses a bitrate of 32 I was wondering if any one knows of a program that can make a 16 bit image into a 32 but image, and if their is a program that does it, how to do it on that program

Use the background images from the R4 themes, and overwrite the images in the R4i theme (named accordingly).

That's what I do but it comes up all fuzy on when I use the r4

The reason they don't work is becuase the bitrate(or something like that) is diffrent. The R4DS uses a bitrate of 16(or something like that) and I'm pretty sure the R4i card uses a bitrate of 32.

EDIT:You can change the bitrate of images by editing them in PhotoShop or related program.

how do you change it to 32 bit?

 

Ok, sorry I took so long, but I found it:
And before I tell you you should know that:
A)Its BitDEPTh, not bitrate
B)You need to convert them in 24 bit depth, not 32 bitdepth.

Step one:
Open the image in PhotoShop and right click on the image and click properties(make sure the image is 16 bit. I know it says its 24bit but thats because this is a skin made for the R4i):



Now save the fine as a .PNG

Now open up the .PNG file and save it as a .BMP it should ask you what bitdepth you want to image to be, select 24.


Now your skins should work, if not, try a different bitdepth.
