*Edit* Thanks to whichever mod moved this to the proper section; I wasn't sure if it belonged in tech help since I technically don't have the emulator yet, but I guess it's as good a place as any.

Since I'm not tech-savvy at all, I figured maybe you guys might know about what kind of emulator I should be looking into for a DS emulator.[I'm sick of missing out because I can't afford anything. The economy sucks]

Anyways, to aid you all, I figured I'd post my dxdiag info here and let you tell me what you think.

BTW, I'm running everything off of a laptop. It runs N64, SNES, and GBA emulators and games just fine, so its power is decent. I can delete other programs to make room, though.

Okay, here's the info. I'll also include the display and sound device data, just in case it helps, and I'll put spoiler tags around it so that it doesn't unnecessarily clog up everyone's screen:

I've owned one DS emulator before[I forget what it was called], but I tried running Super Robot Taisen OG Saga: Endless Frontier on it and it was just sooooooo sloooooow. But since one has worked on this laptop before, I know it can at least handle it.

I dunno if it was just a bad emulator or if there were some options in it I could have tweaked to help it run faster.
Anyways, any help I could get from the more experienced people here would be greatly appreciated.^_^[Oh, and if this is in the wrong section, please feel free to move it to the appropriate one.]

No$GBA is probably the best DS Emulator, add No$Zoomer on it and your on your way onto playing DS games in Full-Screen (even though that sucks) and use filters, plug-ins and more!

Good to know; any recommendations for helping it run faster?

There are some tips in the Common Issues.

    "Game freezes..." section.

Okay, I got the No$GBA, and downloaded Golden Sun: Dark Dawn.
    I'm stuck.
There are too many files in the unzipped folder to choose from; I don't know what I should be looking for.
The only NDS file in the one I downloaded was the one labeled rk-gsddu.nds.

I get a blue screen when I tried to load it up, and that was it.

For GSDD, run the game through BIOS mode, and use the full package from the links found at the bottom of the page.

You won't be able to gain much speed with your current specs, but you may try changing the Update Interval value to 60fps from the No$Zoomer settings.

I tried double-clicking on the No$Zoomer start icon and all it did was freeze my computer for about 30 seconds before giving me a little error beep.
Nothing worked on my laptop afterwards. I couldn't even pull up the Task Manager. Had to reset the laptop to get it to open programs again.
However, I started using DeSmuME0.9.7x86 and the game runs.
The problem with it now, aside from the slow running speed, is that all sound effects are replaced by one long, loud buzzing sound. I had to use the "shut up" command[it literally says shut up; I'm still laughing about that] in the Emulation menu. Now the only thing I hear is the music, and even it is slowed down.
