help kingdom hearts 358/2 (r4)

    so i dl'd the rom and uploaded the game to my r4 cart and when i get to the part where it asks to select difficulty no matter what level i pick when i hit enter it goes to a black screen on both screens and stays. is my rom corrupted or something>???? thanks for the input/help
