[HELP] I can't find the best way to fix these problems!

I've download these roms from romulation.
- Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars (fixed)
- The World Ends With You (fixed)
- Rune Factory 1

I can't play these games cause of some bugs/errors.

- Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars (fixed)
After I choose the save file, my nds got freeze. I know that the save file is the only problem here.

- The World Ends With You (fixed)
My nds got freeze when the intro video playing. I can't figure out what the problem is.
How to solve: When the opening comes up, try opening and closing ur ds screen (repeatedly) (Credit to xmodesty)

Im not sure about the resolution to the other one.

- Rune Factory 1
Another freeze again but the music still playing.

I've read all thread that contains the ways to fix these problems in this forum. But still I don't understand what they mean. They said that I have to update my nds, format my nds, or anything else that I can't really trust. Can anyone tell me the best and easiest way to solve these problems?

The other two, backup and format your MicroSD. You also haven't stated which flashcart you're using.

GTA needs an arm7 patch. The world ends with you worked with no problems for me and never played rune factory 1. By the way, what flash cart are you using?

 

Just because it works on yours, doesn't mean it will on his. Note; no statement of flashcart, or MicroSD etc.

What is flash cart? What is firmware? What is MicroSD?
I've just bought NDS and still don't know what they all are.

How can I update my flash cart? Download something then replace the files? Will it make any error in my nds?

Is there any way wihtout update/add/remove anything in my nds/flash cart/firmware/microSD?

 

Flashcart is your R4 cartridge.
MicroSD is the small memory card you are putting inside your R4.
Firmware is a set of files on that memory card which tells your R4 how to run.

You cannot fix these games without updating/adding/removing/modifying stuff on your microSD.

How to backup?

 

Copy all your files somewhere (so you don't lose them).

 

are you sure just backup it by copy them and paste somewhere? are the hidden files copied too..?
then how to format?

 

There shouldn't be any hidden files, if there are just go to your folder options and check the "Show Hidden Files" option. Of course the files on your card wouldn't be hidden unless you yourself made them hidden, so I'm about 99% sure there are no hidden files on your SD Card.

To format, just right click on the drive and choose "Format..."
