You need the R4i that works with 1.4 which it sounds like you have unfortunately...

If I can suggest Acekard is upgradeable.

    I don't think that the R4i is...

Isn't there a fix for it on the R4i website?
The Ez Flash is fixed by a simple update I found on there forum!

The R4i isn't updateable from what I understand.

    No R4 is either.

The redbox R4i is what you need for 1.4x firmware on DSi.

So their need to be a fix on their forum? Or don't you know about that?

    I don't fart with the R4 anymore mate. :p

I got out of that hell-hole when I switched to EZ Flash Vi and then AK2i.
I'm going to get the Supercard DSTWO when it comes out.

I've never heard of an upgradeable R4 before.

Give me a link if you know of one.

First of all: I have nothing against R4.
Secondly: I have also an Ez - Flash Vi <3
Thirtly: I am talking about an upgrade for R4i not R4.

I think we almost misunderstood eachother

There's nothing wrong with it if you don't have too big of a Micro SD card and if you don't want to play newer games.

The R4i is not upgradeable like I said before. (atleast to my knowledge.)

That's what I've been trying to get across the entire time. :p

If you're firmware is 1.4x, then you wont be able to use any flashcart that was made before 1.4 or one that is upgradeable.

    No.

If you're flash cart won't start you can't play anything unless your DSi's firmware is below 1.4 or you use a DS light or Original DS.
