Well. My sister has had a DS for quite a while now and she almost NEVER plays on it!!! And if she does, she plays super dull games anyway! I've tried to get her to play better games (like TWEWY) but she won't even listen to me! Help, please! =)

are u trying to train ur sister to be one hell of a gamer? o_O lol.... mm anyway it depends on how old she is... if she is around 10 - 12 i dont think TWEWY is the best game for her... u should also ask what genre of game she likes e.g. rpg/action/rhythm etc etc :D i also have a sister btw and i try to make her play games but when ever she pick up the ds all she play is bloody nintendogs... sad i know ._.

I wouldn't force a kid to play video games...

    Example-my brother.

At age 10 I got him playing smash brothers, at first reluctant, then he played for fun...now like me, the only fun he has IS games.

So yes, it's a bad thing, if they become a gamer, let them go down that way themselves rather than forcing them...

(Like wise-sell the ds and buy them a bike or something-least get them active :D)

She just turned 13. Sigh. Maybe it IS just a little cruel :p I know that she'd be pretty good at it though. When she finds a good game, she is pretty quick at it (yeah, I know I said she barely ever plays any games, but she really seemed to like the Simpsons Game). When I asked her, she said that the games that I find pretty average, she really likes. Even though I know she'd like them, she hasn't really tried any games which I find excellent (yes, I have tried asking her what kind of games she likes, and suggested different types to her) I kinda feel that she's missing out though =| (Sorry, I could have written that much better).

    13?

My brother is 13, he KILLS me at wrestling games, wii sports (I suck at real life sports :( ) and first person shooters...

I'm 22, so it's scary how much in 3 years he's become better than me...

Still, most kids at that age like utter trash, until they take an interest in some of the better games they'll play trash for life...or never touch such good games (I tried to get my brother to play no more heroes-never worked out but he took on resident evil 4 on his own at 12 :p )

I Still say just let them choose for themselves, don't force them into gaming, it's their choice.

Why should you force your sister to play Video Games if she doesn't want to? Let her be your standard female. Shop around, and in class, Gossip about stuff and care only about their hairstyles and looks.

... Was that a bit sexist?

    And you're not 13. A 13 year old doesn't know about sexism.

@hYpNoS: You might be right, she never really liked that kind of thing much, it was always me and my brother =)

I kinda just wish she'd listen to me and at least try it, though. ::)

@Stanley Richards: 0_o That was HEAPS sexist! I'M a girl and I'm nothing like that! Neither are any of my friends! (the girl ones that is ALL my guy friends are like that).

Not sure what you mean. But whatever. You shouldn't be driving your sister to gaming. Let her do what she wants :p

...Stan is a dude...the age is correct...

    And some can know.

Not all 13 yr's are as predictable like my little rat of a brother, I know at least 2 that make me look stupid at times...but they lack life experience.
