Help - GBA games on R4

    Hello there,

    I am new to this site but have read the notices before posting. If I have posted wrong please let me know and apologies in advance.

    I have the R4 cartridge for the DS and I am getting on fine with NDS Roms. However, I can't seem to play GBA games. I am saving the GBA Roms in the same "Games" directory on the R4 card but when powering up the DS they are not there - only the NDS games are showing.

    What am I doing wrong? Any help would be great.

    So sorry friend, can't be done. not without a slot 2 device, patched loader software, and a headache.

    Stick with DS games, look out for a cheap supercard, or m3 slot 2 device.

    Correct, slot one solutions such as R4DS cannot play GBA roms. Nor can they run GBA emulators, so don't waste your time trying that route either.

    Oh well. Thanks for the info guys.

    Is there something similar to the R4 for slot 2 that plays GBA roms? Is that the supercard and m3?

    Supercard should be able to play gba game but you have to convert the game
