Help? Games won't work on TT, homebrews do

So on my TT, let's say I try to access and actual GAME.

It freezes during loading the game, still on the TT menu.

Then if I were to try a homebrew, it would work perfectly fine.

I tried backing up my files and reformatting, no change.

Help me, this is so irritating.

 

Mine does that too now and again, try changing the options DMA on or off depending on how they are. If that works then everytime you load the rom you'll have to turn DMA on/off and press save. Then you'll have to turn it back off/on again and it should work.

Most likely you have a fake one like mine... which sucks

 

Update your firmware and install the latest infolib and extinfo files.

 

-Sighs- Tried to update firmware, now my DS isn't even registering that the TT is there. I think I broke it..

Backup your games and saves, and format your MicroSD, then put on the 1.17a12 firmware from here:

It'll be safe if I don't backup the default skin stuff, and random important looking things?
