Hi Just new to the forum but I've been a premium member for 6 weeks or so. My Wii no longer loads disks so I'm trying to back up my collection on a hard drive, I'm downloading and unrar on my android HTC one m7 using chrome and unrar using fx archive extractor, witch works fine for any file under 2gb anything over that downloads to 99% then unsuccessful download, so I tryed a few download managers "such as idm and loaderdroid" the file would download but when I extract it I get an error code com.a.a.b.a: unknown error Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks in advance Wez
Better if you try use the phone to download the file, but unpack/decompress it using your computer. Even better, resort to computer for those extra large files. Your phone or it's app probably couldn't handle it.
I don't own a computer as such but after a bit programming I've got my raspberry pi to decompress the file and transfer it to my Wii hard drive. I've tried one and its working just transferring the other across now fingers crossed it works thanks for the help.
raspberry pi is a cheap (around $35 USD) credit card sized computer intended to teach kids programming
Nope, not gonna fall for it loony. We all know how teh internetz go... And, dang it... I just lost teh game But I can't help it, if I did not reply, that would either imply I didn't knew the fact or loony was smart enough to see through my obvious trollsome post. And if I replied, the same two considerations still hold true. So in light of being made fun of I decided to still post & be done with it.
Oh had to reply. You all made my morning and put huge smile on my face. It maybe that I have a strange sense of humour as I own one of those little first gen computers and took it into a school and said in this little box is a raspberry pie a fully working computer the size of a credit card. They were not much known about then. The looks I got were priceless. Thanks for the memories guys. The newer ones are better as have a larger memory capacity than the 1st gen devices so have better ability to run as games device running emulators. Thank you.
