OK i have been looking everywhere here to find the solution of this problem. Everytime i go into the warp time travel thing the screen keeps on going on with the time traveling and doesn't stop. I tired to do some of the ways to fix by checking here but it doesn't work or the steps the people explain doesn't make sense. I have NO$GBA, the ROM for Chrono Trigger, and Windows Vista, can anyone help? If you have a solution can you tell it step by step. Thanks.

Not too hard to find. If it doesn't work on Vista, then come back here and we'll see if we can't find a pre patched one.

what is R4 and how do you check if you have it?

The R4 is a brand of Flashcart. Flashcarts are devices that connect to an actual Nintendo DS and allow you to play homebrew, media, and commercial games.

If you are using an emulator on the computer, you don't need to worry about it. Just follow the links and apply the patch to the ROM to bypass the anti-piracy on the Chrono Trigger game.

Use Action Replay Code to fix this problem.

First, download the no$gba2.6a and no$zoomer2.3.0.2 from the link below.
    https://www.romulation.org/forum/index.php?topic=1462.0

and then put the 2 items into 1 folder.
Run the no$zoomer, and choose Chrono Trigger.

After the game load, right click the bottom screen.
go to NO$GBA Menu(E) and then click Cheats(C).

A new window will appear, click the 'Add New' button.
Copy and paste these code into the box.
    Code:
    0204E334 E3A00000
    0204E338 E12FFF1E
    0204E694 E3A00000
    0204E698 E12FFF1E

name this code. e.g Chrono fix.etc.

Before press 'OK' button, make sure to click the 'Action Replay DS' slot.
    and then press OK.

A new Item will appear on the cheat list,
Double click it until a tick appear next to the item.
    Press Ok.

    and see how it works.

*make sure that this code always active to prevent game crashes
*do this before the wrap tunnel
*I'm sure there are better code than this, I'm using this a long time ago from google search.

    Hope that helps.

OK @TirithRR i went to https://www.romulation.org/forum/index.php?topic=29845.0 about the anti-piracy thing and then went to http://cheats.gbatemp.net/. Which file should i download from there? There so many 12_08_09 files.zip. I'm so confused.

The databases at GBATemp are for flashcarts, I'm not entirely sure you can use them with No$GBA...
Meganova has left some instructions for adding cheats to No$GBA. I can't comment on how good they are because I don't know how to add cheats.

I might recommend Rudolph's Child's Play Patch, that'll almost certainly include the Chrono Trigger patch. It's mentioned in that thread TirithRR linked you to.

Use R4CCE by Yasu to open whatever database and look for your game and import the cheats into NO$GBA through the Utility tab.

Actually, Tirith instruction is easy to follow.

or just follow my step by step configuration up there.
It's not that complicated, do it from the start.
