HELP! AceKard 2i problem: Works on Brown XL but not on new yellow XL

    Hi there. I have an old Brown DSi XL and have recently treated myself to a new yellow one.
    Having done the "Danny Phantom" firmware mod on an AceKard 2i and had it working happily in a DSi, my old brown XL AND my son's Mario XL, I was a little gobsmacked when I got the "An error has occurred. Press and hold the POWER Button...blah....Manual for details." message, on the new yellow XL.

    Does anyone know what the problem is? I'm assuming it's a firmware issue and if such, does anyone know where I can get the latest firmware to get my AceKard working on this very recent XL?

    I heard that the new firmware blocks the acekard2i flashcart so it might be that.

    check here: http://forum.romulation.net/index.php?topic=52218.0 you will probably need to update your acekard 2i to work on dsi firmware 1.4.1

    Incidentally, I found a great step-by-step guide in the thread "Updating Acekard 2i Firmware Fix For DSi Firmware 1.4E, 1.4J, 1.4U, 1.4A & 1.4X" here:- (http://forum.romulation.net/index.php?topic=21995.0) which includes all the links to the 1.4 and 1.4.1 firmware patches and how to discover which version of DSi you have. Happy Days! Now I can enjoy my big yellow XL. :D
