Hello ~

Hello everyone, my name is Archeia

I've been a member of Romulation since February 2008, I just turned 18, female and currently living in Australia. I wasn't active until I found out there's actually a forum and there's a magical emulator called, "no$gba" I used to just lurk around and download GBA Games I lost over the course of time ^^;

I am uhh, Playstation fan, I love RPGs and specially Tactical ones, I also play FPS such as Half Life 2. Unfortunately, due to the number of consoles, I'm also a big fan of Valkyrie Profile. I've been detached with the times and currently just bought a ps2 and trying to buy Valkyrie Profile Silmeria. As much as possible I want to take things legally. I'm also into drawing and manga and stuff

I'm also saving munney for psp so I could play lots of games! And currently trying to learn DevkitPro. I can't say too much about myself except I'm pretty talkative once I get used to a forum ^^;

Oh and uhm, I'm not really a fan of TWEWY so a lot of people might lynch me <.<;;

Currently trying to finish Summon Night Twin Age, FFTA2 and Harvest Moon DS & w/ Cute

Welcome to RomUlation, Archeia! Enjoy your stay here! I'm also a big fan of RPGs, although Tactical RPGs aren't my favourite. I see you're trying to learn how to code with Devkitpro. I assume you know C or C++ then? And what are you trying to code exactly? A NDS or PSP or GBA game or what? If Nintendo DS, I suggest use Palib or Programmer's Arsenal with Devkitpro to help you code, it's much easier. Also, if you want, check out my FFTA2 review in Game Reviews!

I have a really small knowledge regarding about C++ so I'm practically just an ultimate beginner ^^;
I'm still trying to learn during my free time but since it's vacation here I might spent all of my time learning this. I'm trying to make one with PSP since the stylus issue in DS intimidates me ^^;

Oh and I saw the review before I posted this and I tend not to finish it since I'm still at the beginning of the game. But I am finding it cubersome to learn skills from items, I think I just got used to FFTactics and all

Ah I see, then PSP won't be as hard as DS then. Learn as you go right? That's what I'm doing, I'm learning C++ and Palib and Devkitpro code as I need them, I even have some of the C++ and Palib tutorials via .txt on my iPod, so I can read them without going on the computer. I know I shouldn't even be starting, I'm only 14, but I want to make sure I don't have any trouble with it when I'm older. And want to get a head start basically.

 

No wonder you're such a pro.. Yeah PHP is similar to C++, how you end with ; etc., I figured this out when I having a hardtime installing wordpress and SMF (stop laughing at me Seph), I edited some of the .php files.. I just went over to gamedev.net, they said a good starting language is python, which is similar to C++. I might go for it, as it wouldn't be difficult switching back to C or C++.

playstation is awesome. im currently trying to get custom firmware on my psp JUST to play PSX games on it.
this will last about a week...

I just played valkyrie profile lenneth and I remember this is the game that has like 2 hours of introduction.

Now I remember why I didn't like this game.

The opening scenes take forever and you can't SKIP!

I don't understand patapon at all.
I thought you could move around and kill stuff but apparently it's one of those rhythm games.

ah well, back to playing FF8 and Carding every monster I see.
SOB! I have to start over! I forgot I don't have Card yet.
NOOO! I leveled! go back! go back! <-- my thoughts exactly when playing FF8.
