    hi ican here
    i'm nrew to this website and has found it very useful
    i was wondering if you patch a game will you lose all you saved
    data? sorry if this is not in the right spot but yeah.

    i dont think so because ive never heard of something like that but ive never used patched games but i would make a copy of the save just in case it gets screwed up

    ok because i'm playing heart gold and i have saved every 5 min to minimis freezing but now it will freeze everytime after i battle or enter some where or even if i save it will black screen and die so i want to patch it. if i can't i'll just go crazy :p (i'm up to rout Goldenrod city where the department store is or something :p)
