Hello Romulation from the UK

Hello there, I am quite new to gaming and forums etc.. (please excuse my spelling as I am dyslexic, thanks) I download your games and thought the least I could do is to introduce myself and say thankyou.

I "sneaked" in a Glossy Black DS Lite without telling my wife about a year ago now and only used it when she was at work. I gave up my full time job to raise our children, she is a specialist nurse and I was working in telecoms.

During her maternity leave we discussed about child care etc afterwards and it would seem that my wages would simply be spent on childcare as she was the major earner with a carear going upwards. When I was later offered redundancy I went for it, opting to raise my kids instead of some childminder doing it for us. best desicion we ever made.

Anyway, my little one was at nursery and other one slept alot in the day, so I was looking for a release and got dragged into the NDS adverts, finally cracked and bought one...., it was so hard only playing it when she was at work. Sometimes I'd lock myself in the bathroom for ages, goodness only knows what she thought I was doing in there ., Finally after test-driving the DS,I got my wife one that christmas, a pale blue one and revealed that I had one then too., it was a funny moment, but you had to be there She was so pleased, said it was the best thing she had ever got.

We got our son one for his 4th birthday as he was constantly pestering us to play with ours, he had a shiny red one. Games we discovered were soooo expensive, especially if you got them and found they were a bit rubbish, you weren't able to take them back, so after a google search I found that you could get flash cards and put games etc. on them, My wife got a R4, I got my son an EZFlashV and I had one a bit later that was an EZFlash Vi with Rumble Card expansion thingy, and so here we are.

We are so grateful to Romulation to the games, especially for my son who has the attention span of a goldfish, at least this way, you can take your time looking at the game reviews which we find are really helpful and then download them for him to enjoy.

I like the gore ones myself, but also partial to the crosswords and such like (god I feel so old sometimes ), I'm a big fan of horror movies especially Clive Barkers - "Hellraiser". A small number of us devoted fans make the Hellraiser boxes, two of us actually worked on the films, one in special effects and one in the CGI side. I like to read, Stephen Kings my favourite, I've woke my wife up many times dreaming about his books, especially IT, the evil clown in the sewers.

That's me in a nutshell and thanks again for putting up such a wonderful site.

That you ignore-even if it's direct-ignore.
