Hello. The nick's Peter, I'm from Portugal, Oporto. I'm 15, and I'm having a boring time back here at home. Trying to keep myself occupied with my no$gba and some ROMs I had downloaded from other sites, but this site seems much better than the other ones.

I love listening to music, and I see that we back here have a radio station. I've got WinAMP, and I'm already listening to it. Pretty cool! I'm a fan of heavy, power and progressive metal and old rock music, so anything including Dream Theater, DragonForce, Led Zeppelin, Iron maiden and such is fantastic for me. And the radio hasn't let me down!

I own a PS2, recently chipped, so I only have around 20 games, or so, but they're elite games. Very good, indeed. I am now gathering money for a computer, but if I can't, I might go for a NDS and a flashcart, probably CycloDS or so. Any suggestions for me are appreciated.

For the time being, I only have my PS and computer to entertain myself, but my computer is worth many consoles. I'm a fan of the older consoles, like the Mega Drive, SNES, NES, GameBoy, and I've recently found no$gba. It's an awesome emulator for NDS for the time being, I use it a lot. I have been playing Pokemon Diamond, Zelda, Phoenix Wright and Trauma Center. Great games. I've tried to play The World Ends With You. I've heard it's an amazing game, but, unfortunately, I can't make my own judge, as I can't start it. :'(

I am a fan of RPG games, like Chrono Trigger, the older Pokemon's, Dragon Quest/Warrior and the older Final Fantasy's. Nowadays RPGs for the newer generation consoles have lost that touch of an RPG, the oldest are much more addicting. The latest Final Fantasy's have let me down a bit, it's not as addicting as the Seventh and Third, and such. But those keep me occupied. As for my PS2, I like the "newer" Dragon Quest, the Eighth. It has the older essence, and that keeps me happy. But I prefer shooting games for it, like Call of Duty and Medal of Honor.

Gaming is pretty much what I do. I don't like reading books, only comics. The other books seem torture to me, I can't stand looking at those walls of text. But I love comics and manga. Love reading Death Note, Zits, Garfield, Tintin, Astérix, Calvin and Hobbes, etc. Almost any comic book is good for me.

I enjoy a good movie once in a while, I've recently downloaded Heroes, the series. And I got addicted to it. It's really fantastic. I enjoy movies like Harry Potter (don't blame me), The Punisher, The War of the Worlds, etc. Practically any action movie is good for me, and if it includes some heads rolling, then better. :D

Almost forgot: your magazine is great!

I doubt you can read all that. But well, it's everything from me. :)

Ok, this is probably the best intro I have seen till now.

First of all, welcome to the site, Peter Clark. If you are looking for a flashcart... buy Cyclo DS the personal reccomdation of Romulation. Secondly, your choices are similar to mine I love the movie War of the World, my favourite novel as well.

If you have any any problem ask me or Anandjones, our emulation specialist.

Thanks, Vincent. It seems I was right about the flashcart. I'll do that.

Call me Pete. My real name is Pedro, and (roughly) translated, it is the equivalent to Peter. Clark is just a name that I have always liked.

Welcome Pete! I hope you enjoy it here. I also like DragonForce, but that's the only metal I really listen to. I also like Guns N' Roses and many other old rock bands. See you around!

Ah! Another brethren, thank you Pete for making my day ;D

Yes this is one of the best introductions ever, but what won me over was the fact that you love the classic games more than these new ones that are mostly filled with gimmickry & eye candy, but with little to no content what so ever.

It's sad though that you don't like books, yeah they're obsolete relics of the past, but I think books still have their charm. Actually when you get to college, you'll be facing tomes frequently, so it's better to start liking them while you're young. :)

And oh yeah, welcome to General seph's Garrison, Fort RomUlation, where the ESA are shot down for the buggers that they are! ;D

Thanks for your warm welcomes. I believe I have something stored in my hard drive to compensate you. :)

I also like Guns 'n' Roses, but that's probably because of Slash, that guy knows how to play his guitar.

I like some books, but many are just a pain in the ass. Once in a while, my mum just grabs my head and puts a book in there. I occasionally like one or two, some of them are great. And yeah, I know about those books, back here you have to study the same book in the 9th and 12th grade, a big poetry book made by a guy 500 years ago, it's just horrible.

Final Fantasy is still on, Final Fantasy IV has been released on DS and has been appreciated by everybody. Final Fantasy XIII is also ready for release.

Yes, all those remakes they've been making, I'm going to play them on no$, and if luck's with me, I'll play them on a NDS.

If Final Fantasy XIII comes to the PS2, I'll be sure to give them a try.

Thanks, but, please, do NOT include that Y in the name. I hate Petey. Just Pete.

It has a musical touch, hasn't it? Pete... Pete... Pete... Pete... Give it a try. :D

But, don't get me wrong, I'm not Tom Cruise's fan. Far from that. :p

And thanks all for the welcome. :)

if you're not jumping on couches, then you're not a Tom Cruise fan.

I thought Pedro was a Spanish name, but since Portuguese and Spanish are similar, I guess they have the same names.
