    Hey how's it goin all?
My name is Oushiza, I'm new to the forums and I hope to meet some cool and interesting people here. I am a big fan of Nintendo and Sony (I'm a Nintendo baby, my very first system was a NES). Anyway, hope that people will stop by and say hello.

My first system was the NES as well. I bought the "Power Set" when I was a kid. I saved up for it all summer. Those were the good old days. Great games with great friends. I miss those days.

Welcome to RomUlation. I hope to see you in the forums.

Thank you all for the warm welcome. And you're right apophos, those were the good old days. Lets just hope that the next gen systems will maintain those days with the games that they release. Also, thanks for the welcome zinectics ^^ V

Don't bet on it. It all seems to be about graphics now, when back in the day it was about game play and having FUN.

    Welcome to RomUlation! :)

Nice to have you on board.

I prefer to have a nice story and game play.
Mostly graphics are only slowing down the system or are nothing but gap fillers.

Hey another NES days comrade ^_^

Well not exactly, I come from the other side of the world, in Asia to be exact & we had the FamiCom here back then, but that's still the same generation console with the same games so yeah those were the days indeed.

Welcome to the forums mate :D

Famicom was the name of the NES in Asia and US (I think).

Not only were the names different loony, the hardware itself were different for both. In Asia (but primarily in Japan later trickling to everywhere else), the Famicom was intended to be a toy & had other add ons like the Famicom BASIC Keyboard & that "programmable" robot thing (it was featured in one of Warioware's mini games on the GBA).

In America however, the NES was re-designed to make it look like an appliance instead of a toy.
