Heeelp!, My Age of Empires Myhtologies won't work!

Hi, I'm using the r4 and can't seem to find any newest firmware other than v1.18, so, how can I make my AOE Mytholigies work?

I really waited a long time to get it, and now I'm very dissapionted for not being able to play it.

ps. what happened to the r4 firmware updates?, is it going to stop at v1.18?

This game needs to be fixed with the arm7 patch in order to work properly on R4 cards. There are several ways of doing this and all of them are fairly simple (I use the DS Lazy option). Follow the link below and you will find discussion that walks you through the process.

I don't think the Max Overload portion of the process is necessary in this case, or any case really. All you need to do is replace the old arm7.bin file with an arm7.bin file from a ROM that you know works properly. I use ont from Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow.

Here's a brain twister, I had the same problem w/ age of empire mythologies, but I knew bout the arm 7 fix, and it runs just fine excpet it freezes when I try and use the online capability, the green indicator light which shows the ds lite is in online mode when it blinks , it doesnt blink and I have to soft reset , even local wireless is freezing, I've tried patching the dldi, trimming, only single player works

Burn I was afraid of that, have you tried it ? think you can fix it ? I have an R4 btw

 

It doesn't work, haven't heard of any cases where it did.
