Hi, I'm using an EDGE v1.8 and it supposedly works with SoulSilver and HeartGold. So far for me, I can't save in HeartGold at all. Can someone help by giving me a sav file or giving me some pointers?
More details. "Can't save" is not an error or a problem. Even "Nothing happens when I try to save" is better than just leaving it out.
Sorry, I'm a bit new to this. When I save, it seems to work but it saves too quickly. When I reloaded the game, apparently a save file was not created. I was back at the complete beginning, with Oak asking you gender, name, etc.
I suspect having a normal save file will fix the problem, and I can just change the name on the game using PokeSav, so a working save file would be appreciated.
Does the save file get created? (check your MicroSD). If it does, delete it and try again. Or backup, format, reinstall 1.8 firmware. If you cannot get a user to upload a save file for you, then wait for Edge 1.9 (It's bound to come out some time in the next week or two.)
