HeartGold/SoulSilver Fixed for R4i-SDHC with latest firmware (r4i-sdhc.com)

Just to inform everyone, HG/SS is now working on R4i-SDHC with the latest (1.19b) firmware, which you can download from http://www.r4i-sdhc.com/indexe.asp.

A quick test (entering and leaving a building 40 times) suggests it's the real deal.

Only thing that didn't work is trying to connect it so I get messages from my Wii when something trades in the GTS.

Yeah I'd need something before 1.4 too :-\

 

It won't work I'm afraid, that's why they have separate kernels for both versions.

That's because it's not supported by your cartridge.

 

i have a r4i-sdhc

 

Firmware loaded for me but moonshell does not allow commercial ndsroms from romulation so I had to revert to tt/ysmenu.

 

Oh dang it, I have a R4 SDHC, it's not one of those clones, so sadly, it's a different cartridge. D:

 

Well, after I found a patch for 1.18 firmware (that works), they released 1.19. Great ... At least we can play in peace. \ o /

 

damn i think i have a fake r4i-sdhc card

both firmware for r4i-sdhc and r4-sdhc don't work

 

yay thats two updates in a month. I was so bummed when the update on the 19th didn't help.

 

why I can't save the game? it always shows "The save file will be erased due to corruption or damage". I'm using v1.19b

 

try reformatting your sd card. (back everything up first.)
