hi ive just put the new wood software on my original r4 cart and put all the games and saves back on but for some reason heartgold sav file wont work, it starts new, even though ive looked and the sav files are on there any ideas guys? or any fixes
Rename your save with file extention enabled ending to .nds.sav Woodr4 Save's have a diffrent end to the save file's - all Yes : as CoolKill3r sed woodR4 v1.14 is also new out
im on wood v1.13 from the old r4 software v1.18 i remember someone saying to me that the sav files have to have .nds.sav il give it a go i was just playing on the old software and was told to update to wood so i did which is great because now games work so i dragged and dropped the heartgold game and sav file and just dropped it in the new game folder and thats when i found out the sav file wasnt working

well that didnt work! i have come to the conclusion that if you played heartgold on r4 version 1.18 and have a sav file, when you update the software to wood v1.13 and try to drag and drop the game and its sav file on to it the game will not play from where you saved, even if you put .nds.sav on the end or maybe im doing something wrong because ive been trying to get it working from where i last played and it wont work it just goes back to being a new game *humph sits with arms folded*
If you already ran the game then yeah, it's overwritten. It cannot be restored unless you made an backup.
