Heart Gold black screen on ys menu

Hi when I try to run HeartGold (U) on the YS Menu software for my R4 I come up with a black screen after name selection. Does anyone have any tips to bypassing this anti-piracy measure?

I have no issue with that and have an identical set up. Try formatting you card to fix that. The problem most are having is freezing after 24 actions. There is currently no AP fix for R4.

That isn't an AP fix, that is a way around it.

 

Exactly my point. That's why I put apostrophe marks around AP.

If that translation patch is entirely completed, at least a true AP fix won't really be necessary.
