having trouble putting cheats on my r4 can anyone help.

hi guys i have downloaded 04_16_09_USRCHEAT.DAT.zip and 04_16_09_CHEAT.DAT.zip and put them both on my r4 card and i still can't get any cheats for the games on my r4. can any one help?

 

One, don't put both on, only one and the R4 has an issue that doesn't show all the games up if it overloads, if you don't play shovelware download the UECheat.dat from here: https://www.romulation.org/forum/index.php?topic=15544.msg174076#msg174076

Have you extracted it and put the extracted file into the system folder with no other dats?

 

yes i extracted it and i sent it to my r4 card. and if you mean no other dats i have deleted USRCHEAT.DAT.zip and CHEAT.DAT.zip. so the ue cheat.dat is the only one on there.

whats the system folder? i put an sd card in to a usb stick and i put the file on to the sd card. is the sd card the system folder?

 

No it goes Memory card> System
As the memory card is the root folder, you should have one folder called System

 

ok i dragged the file in to the system folder and it is working now. ;D thanks for all your help cjdogger. your the best.
