Having issues with Digimon World, could use some assistance.

    Alright, so. I'm using ePSXe 1.7, and I've tried almost every video plug-in I can find. Pete's OpenGL, D3D, etc. When the intro comes up, I can watch it with no issues, but when I press start, it freezes. Similarly, if I let it play through, it freezes when the intro ends. I bought a copy off my cousin this weekend, and immediately put it on my computer, since my PS2 is whack and extremely temperamental. I have a small Acer (Netbook), with 1 GB of RAM and a 1.66GHz processor. I'd appreciate any help I got. Thank you in advance.

    your computer isn't up to the job. 1.66Ghz simply isn't fast enough to do all the cpu and gpu emulation that it's having to do. The correct video plugin would be one of the soft drivers, but it's not going to run very well. You can try older versions of epsxe, some games run better on 1.6 or 1.5.2

    Well, I'll try your suggestions. But I can play FFVIII, Legend of Dragoon, and many others with only minor issues. Average of 45ish fps. But thanks anyway.
