Hmm, don't use limewire, your comp will get really slow.
I just use aimini.net, or 4shared. Or whatever it'll need to get my song.

limewire does make your computer slow when you dowload. I recommend bit torrent though i still use limewire myself :p

I prefer FTP like MU, RS etc cause theres not really high risk of getting caught by the copyfags, unless you're stupid and download and run a virus (Time to watch naruto_ep_232.exe!)

    MU/RS etc are not FTP.

frostwire, limewire et al are malware infested, don't use them. Thats aside from the fact they're closely watched.

Does that count if I only use it for torrent downloads i get from the internet? I stopped downloading songs from there because I know this site that has download links to HQ songs.

no, basically any P2P program except bittorrent.

I think I might just do that. I'll finish my 4 almost done torrent downloads and transfer. On a side note I've never encountered malware since I scan everything after downloading.

When I check on my peers, that is to say my fellow leechers &/or seeders of a particular file I'm downloading via utorrent I see others using Azureus. Is it as good as utorrent? Well I'm not switching to it though as RomUlation does swear by utorrent.

Question, Does where I download torrents (limewire, utorrent ect...) affect my dl speed? since i average from 45.5 kbps-60kbps. Or is it really just because of my internet speed?

With torrents, you don't just have to consider location & distance. Three other factors are, the seeders, the leechers & availability of the pieces of the file/s you are downloading.
