Has something changed?

I've not downloaded anything for a while. This morning I've come on to download FIFA09 & Madden 09 for the DS, i extract the file and copy to my memory card. But then i get a message saying,
The save data could not be accessed. Please turn off the power off and reinsert the DS card.

One change i did notice was i had to choose a mirror. I chose Europe, would this cause the error?

 

Is your firmware up to date?

 

I'm not computer savvy. How would i check this?

 

To update your firmware you need to download the firmware from here. http://linfoxdomain.com/nintendo/ds/ And then download the corresponding firmware. For example if your using a r4 you need to download the latest r4 firmware and replace the older firmware on your cartridge with the newer version. I hope this helped good luck

 

What flash cart are you using, hmm well I also encountered that error message before and I got it solved by freeing up some space on my memory card, try atleast free up 10% of your memory cards total capacity and check if your cart's firmware is updated that should do the trick

Downloaded the latest R4, that didn't work. Thanks for your help , though. :'(
