Harvest Moon: Wifi not working?

Hi, whenever i try to connect to wifi on Harvest Moon: Island of Happiness it won't connect, when i go to options and try to connect to my USB the screen is just blank and stuck, it's like it freezes. Anyone can help me with this?

What the hell, i can't connect to any game on WIFI. My friend is having the same problem as well!

 

Try updating your flashcart's firmware by going to http://www.linfoxdomain.com/ds/

 

Also, check your internet connection settings.
If you have some sort of whitelist on your router, check to make sure that the DS is on there.
Check to see that the router hasn't been reset recently.
If your router has passwords enabled, turn those off.
This sounds obvious, but also check the hotspot connections on your DS and make sure those are correct.
If you have legit carts, then try connecting with those.
If it does, then your flashcart is at fault and do what Anand said.

 

Alright, i have the latest firmware and the wi-fi works just fine with other games. Harvest Moon just won't connect.

 

Nintendo USB Wifi Connector? I heard it (and other similar devices) works pretty decently.

 

Okay, but it's not like my rom is broken? It goes up to step 3 with connecting and then the screen is just blank and i can't go back i have to restart my DS. :O

 

It's most likely not the ROM that is the problem. It's probably not wifi compatible with your flashcart at the moment sorry.

 

Wi-Fi works with my rom and R4DS, so I'm guessing thats a sign of a card/internet problem at your end sadly.

In fairness though, wifi plays a seriously minor part of the game (a rankings board, and that's about it), so you can afford to wait until a firmware update or whatever

You should try going wifi at another place with an access point.
