Hardest RPG?

Ok guys i need a challenge. Give me something to play worthy of my awesomeness.

 

Etrian Odyssey 2 or the Newly Released Drowned City?

If you fancy a sorta Platformer with RPG Elements maybe the Henry Hatsworth & the Puzzling Adventure.

 

ima try hatsworth keep em coming though need more ideas
playing etrian 3 also so far no actuall difficulty. i need something BRUTAL!

 

Get a PS3 and Demon Souls after that there will be nothing left worthy of challenge.

Tales of symphonia can be pretty nice if you use a cheat code to unlock the mania difficulty...it will be the most challenging thing ever since you didn't carry over stats from previous play through >.>

 

YS games are in general hard when talking about the bosses.

But the rest is a bit meh.
Its like DevilMay Cry, easy levels, hard bosses.

 

Castlevania : Order of Ecclessia, Finish the Game and do a FRESH Hard Cap Level 1, Now thats for some hardcore difficulty. ;D

 

Star Ocean 2 the original PSOne version. Why the hell does that game have a level cap exceeding 99 levels!? The game's not an MMORPG for Christ's sake

Der Langrisser on SNES. I actually cheated this game using the fast level up cheat, but the final battle is still effin' difficult.

I loved it's story & item creation system a lot, but that level cap & the final boss was a pain.

 

yeah I've beaten all the star oceans so far. haven't tried langrisser or rondo of sword though ill check them out

As for RPG's.....Persona on hard? Never tried it tough~

Or simply play games with a challenge guide (low level, bla bla, weak equip and stuff)

 

rondo of swords is ridiculously easy if you just use the top tier chars (cough, ansom, cough) so its not really worth trying. Basically after you figure the game out, it is easy as pie, and the game is very easy to figure out.

But...... for the DS, go and DL FE: SD (emblem shadow dragon). The japanese version with eng patch .... (god, they gave NA the kiddy shit ass version without 2 of the hardest and most fun difficulties). Then go on 5 star hard mode. Then never use edgar or wolf, and try to beat the game. Now this is definitely the hardest RPG styled thing you can play on a DS, since you can't grind at all in FE. Just go try it.

 

play an rpg but never buy new equipment

 

i beat ffxiii without using the crysterium that was pretty hard lol.

 

final fantasy V in GBA,,,, and disgaea,,, hard grinding,,

 

Go for a speed run on a long story RPG.

Any RPG becomes hard when you are underleveled and lacking good equipment :X
