    So heres my problem.

I want to play COD4 online with my friend with a virtual network. Both of us have hamachi and accounts and im hosting. The thing is though, he cant see my server on his Local connections list. Am i searching wrong? Because the same happens to me when i try to connect to other networks on hamachi. What do i need to do? BTW ive also tried Tunngle and that doesent work either

Hamachi is weird man, early versions of it actually work a lot better than the later versions.

Tungle.me is a scheduling application that syncs with your existing calendar.

    * Eliminate double-bookings, time zone mishaps and the back-and-forth of finding a time to meet
    * Easily schedule meetings, inside or outside your organization
    * Invite others to schedule with you, without having to sign up

    ...

Try connecting to the specific IP of the host.

most likely you're using a pirated copy (or atleast one of you are) try using a different cd key if that doesnt work make sure your firewall isnt blocking hamachi or any of the ports it uses

no its not pirated, i lent the disk to my friend

if you lent the disc to your friend that technically means he has a "pirated" copy since he didnt buy the game....

the problem is you guys are most likely using the same CD KEY and that hasnt worked since like Diablo 2 i think

its basic anti-piracy all you have to do is have a different cd key than the other person(s) you want to play with, this always works in a LAN..now if you wanna play online you have to buy the game because pirated cd keys are usually blocked or someone else is already using it... you can use pirated cd keys to play LAN games :D
