Hey everybody! I am stuck. While installing halo my UNINSTALL.EXE file was scanned and then dumped by the antivirus! As the file could not be repaired by it... I want that if anybody can upload that file and then provide me a link to it . Also while updating the game to latest patch i encountered an error of wrong cd key provided! if i could get the uninstall file than i could repair the game providing it a new key. Ah no wonder...the uninstaller file must have been 'unins000.exe'? It's a trojan use for cracking, as it manipulate the registry. Thus it must have been detected by your AV, and removed. Had your AV settings was made to ask you for approval on what it should do to the detected files, you could have salvage it by adding to the exception list. Try google searching for a trial of that game. It should come with an uninstaller too. Otherwise must wait for someone who have that game.
Since your copy of the game is pirated you can never log on and experience its online features as the game's updater will always detect your crack and replace it with the legit .exe launcher.
you can't have someone else upload their uninstaller. The uninstaller is generated based on your install settings, someone else's wouldn't work on your install.
So that means i should download a clean copy of halo from somewhere else and than enter genuine key.. Than anybody provide me a link to the halo combat evolved .
