Hakuouki DS ~ 4096Mbit ROM

Holy sh*t, Hakuouki DS has a 4096Mbit (512MB) ROM. It's the first ROM this big, but why?

 

Not the first to be this big, I believe Front Mission 2089 was about this big but i heard it's mostly VA that makes this so big.

 

No, 2089 is 512Mbit (ie 64MB). Hakuouki is 4096Mbit, which is 512MB as Kiekoes says. Eight bits to a byte.

And yes, it's because of all the voice acting. It's a port from a PS2 game, y'see.

No wonder all those otome games are so big...voice acting is a must for them.

It's the exemplary otome game,this one,with its big file size and such...

 

where can i download this ROM? i found it somewhere and when it had completed downloading, it would not play. there were errors

 

GTA:CW was 128Mb and it was quiet a big game. they probably got high quality videos and music in it.

 

Imagine if a good games on ds such as GTA:CW,KH 358 2 days,Zelda,Mario,Final Fantasy,Phantasy Star Zero use a lot of that space.The gameplay will be longer,will have better graphics etc

 

Nice quality stills, but it's mostly the gameplay it's self that filles it (and soem voice from memory...).

I prefer my BIG games with gameplay and space filling it, not voice.

 

Actually media is the majority.

 

So,is it the same as gal game in the manga 'The World God Only Knows' of male version or something else.
